EMERGENCY CLOSURES

Should we have snow and have to close the school, the information will be available on our Facebook page, the website, or on local radio (Heart Radio or BBC Wiltshire).  We will endeavour to email you, although this may not be possible. Please make sure we have your email address in school.
It is unusual for this school to close, so please check first and do not assume we will shut.

LEAVE OF ABSENCE PROCEDURES

As detailed in our Attendance Policy, and in line with DfE guidance, we do not authorise leave of absence during term other than when exceptional circumstances permit. Exceptional circumstances does not cover holidays that may prove more expensive at any other time of the year. If you wish to take your child out of school, during term time, it is important to discuss this with us as much in advance as possible so we can guide you through the process. 

For any term-time leave please complete an absence request form which is available from the school office. Where absence is unauthorised, it could lead to further action being taken including a penalty notice being issued.  Please see the document below for the latest guidance from Wiltshire Council.

SAFETY IN THE PLAYGROUND

Bikes, scooters, skate boards etc. must not be ridden on the school playground at the beginning or end of the day.

The school has a strict ‘No Dogs on Site’ rule; this includes tying them to the school railings.

Please do not leave pre-school children unattended in the school grounds.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00am to 9:45am

Wednesday: 10:30am to 10:45am (Open the Book)

Friday: 2:30pm to 2:50pm (Achievement Assembly)
