What a great start to the first term at Marden Vale Academy.  The new Tadpole Team have come in with confidence and have settled well.  Many came to Summer School and so were raring to get back in and get started in their smart uniforms!  This term we are learning about ourselves and how marvellous we all are!  The children will be thinking about being unique within the Tadpole team, about their special qualities and how they shine.  They will be enjoying a 'blended provision' which means there will be some learning directed by Mrs Bathurst, some small group learning with an adult helping or sometimes just on their own with a teacher.  This is blended with the most important work which takes place as the children lead their own learning within our play based environment.  The doors are always open so they can choose to learn inside or outside at these times.  This is the time we really get to see what learning is embedded, the children's understanding of the world around them, and most importantly, really get to know the children and their passions.
