We're just going down to the post box to post our letters to Father Christmas. We did a good job of persuading him that we deserve a present this year. Can you spot how we persuaded him?
We loved investigating 3d shape today. The skeleton shapes we made helped us to learn what vertices and edges were.
What a fabulous start to our topic- a trip to Blaise Museum in Bristol. We learnt all about toys in the past!
The poetry slam today was fantastic. We loved performing ours to the school. All the classes did well, and congratulations to the winners- Mrs Fox's year 5

We designed and made healthy fruit salads. They were delicious. We'll be writing instructions to let you know how to make them too. Look out for the instructions next week!
Amazing adding- we used resources and a place value grid to help us add larger numbers together.
We learnt about a famous artist called Pablo Picasso. We made out own portraits, in his style, using pastels.
Our friend Sister jenny came in and told us all about her life as a Christian. She was very interesting. We learnt about Harvest Festival as well.
We had a great visit to Tescos. We learnt all about the technology they use there and we brought some fruit to make our fruit salads. The staff were really lovely and helped us with our learning. Thanks you.
We had great fun labeling each others and as we did it we learnt the names of the external and internal parts of the body.
We learnt how to sketch by tickling the page with the pencil. We also learnt about the proportions of the face.
Using apparatus in Maths really helps us understand what we are learning. As Year 2s we are starting to understand bigger numbers.
