Please encourage your children to access their Showbie accounts via the internet www.showbie.com
or via the free ipad Showbie app. It is a really useful way for them to keep in contact with me and
with each other. Please email me if there are any problems with the children accessing their account.
Over the coming weeks I will be setting additional tasks for the children via this platform.

Calne in Bloom Art Competition
We hope that you will encourage your children and young people at home to take part in this fantastic competition celebrating our busy bees who gives us life! Last year we had some winners in the Calne in Bloom competition and Marden Vale was over the moon!
The closing date is 22nd May so get planning and making! Take your time and make your creation amazing. The artwork will be judged by our Town Mayor who will also present the prizes at our school.
The theme is - ‘Bees’
The title for 2020 - ‘Bee Sustainable in Calne’ as we are all trying to be more environmentally aware and encouraging biodiversity within our community.
The maximum size is - A3 (2 x A4 sized piece of paper)
Can be - painting, pastels or collage materials
Age categories are - 3-5yrs, 6-8yrs, 9-11yrs, 12-16yrs
Please could you ensure that the NAME, AGE and SCHOOL is written on the back of each picture
